The powerful four-night Spiritual Psychological Warfare conference, held in lower mainland Vancouver, was taught by Marty Nystrom. Starting with 25 attendees on the first night, the number continues to grow, seeing a packed room with 42 participants by Sunday. While a few joined for only one or two nights, the majority eagerly immersed themselves in all four sessions; their hunger for the Word of God was evident.
We were visible through the restaurant's windows, and people passing by saw the
gathering and were intrigued; some boldly asked to join our session. Michelle was one of the strangers who accidentally came upon us, learned what it was about and stayed for all four nights. She testified that because of hearing the Bible being spoken with power by Pastor Marty, something broke free in the Spirit for her.
"There are several memorable moments from the seminar, but the most memorable is from a young lady who saw a poster outside the venue and came inside. She did not know anyone there but stayed to hear the Word of God. We had the privilege of ministering to her the first night she was there. The next day she came in and looked totally different. She stayed for the rest of the teaching nights and on the last night she waited quite a while to talk with us. She looked even better!
She was so full of joy and could not stop smiling! The Lord truly touched her life. She hugged us and said, “You have changed my whole life.” Hearing things like this never gets old. Seeing lives changed is why we do what we do. God is Great!" - Marty
A gentleman came from Nanaimo island to attend the conference because he could not find the living Word of God preached where he lived. He tells me he was hungry for the truth, and Marty did not disappoint.
"This command I commit to you, my son Timothy, according to the prophecies that were previously given to you, that by them you might fight a good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith." - 1 Timothy 1:18-19
Among the attendees, individuals were grappling with various challenges: some sought guidance for a broken marriage, while others sought deliverance for themselves and their families. Many came in search of healing for their bodies, while others longed for freedom from fear and anxiety. The Holy Spirit led Marty as he proclaimed the power and authority of Christ living in us. Through the teaching of the Word, he gave many the hope and the courage to fight the good fight of faith. The Holy Spirit gets all the credit for gathering each individual to the conference.
